 Please show your support for the victims of the 3.11 earthquake & tsunami in the Tohoku region of Japan. What: A high-energy percussion and dance jam/performance. Donations will be collected and flyers will be distributed to raise awareness and let people know how they can help out. ALL collected funds will be sent to the Japan Earthquake Relief Fund of the Japan Society. Go to:http://www.japansociety.or Who: Musicians who play Brazilian percussion*, dancers from all genres and anybody who would like to support the people of Japan. *Percussionists, please bring one or more instruments. :) We will be playing standard batucada and other rhythms from Brazil. Also open to other world music drumming traditions.
